Where/do you ship?

Depending on size and weight, we ship across Canada.

Warranty on open box?

All our products, including open box, include a full manufactures warranty.

Return policy on open box?

All our return/exchange policies still apply on open box. We have a 15 day refund, 30 day exchange period.

What is an open box?

Open box are either store display units or customer returns. They are always tested and in working condition. They will come with full box, packaging and accessories.

Can we offer a better price on product?

Our prices are always competitive. Please visit your closest location and discuss with a sales associate for most up to date pricing and packages.

What location has stock of product?

Each product has an inventory tab near the description. You'll find the inventory according to the stores.

Do we install car audio products?

Each of our locations have a recommended installer in their area.Please visit your closest location for a recommended installer close to you.


Why do I need to create an account to purchase online?

Creating an account provides us with all the necessary information required to process any order you may place. After you have registered, all future orders can be placed with this account.

How do I change my personal information?

Once you have selected items and placed them into your cart, press “next” and log in to your account. Under ‘Profile’ you will be able to change your street address, phone number, e-mail address, password and more.

What if I forget my password?

Go to the login area on and click “Lost Your Password.” Enter your e-mail address in the space provided and we will send you your password.


Is my personal information safe on your website?

Absolutely. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you submit it to our secure server. All supplied sensitive and credit information is transmitted via GeoTrust Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers’ database. This information is only accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your sensitive information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

What methods of payment can I use to make a purchase in one of your stores?

We gladly accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Debit Card, Cash and Financing options for in-store purchases.

What methods of payment can I use to make an online purchase?

2001 Audio Video gladly accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Financing options when paying on our website.

When does my credit card get charged after I make an online purchase?

Once your order has been placed and our computer system has confirmed the order as valid, your credit card will be charged the full purchase amount.

Will I receive a receipt for my order?

Once your order has been processed, you will receive an electronic receipt to the email address that you provided on your account. Also, when your product is shipped it will include a hard copy invoice for your records.

Can I use my gift card to pay for an item online?

No. 2001 Audio Video gift cards can only be used to purchase an item in-store.

Can I cancel my order?

If for any reason you wish to cancel your online order you must contact our online sales department immediately (see contact information directly below this answer). If the order has already been shipped, the purchase cannot be cancelled. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Cancellation of orders will be handled on a case by case basis.

Can I purchase gift cards online?

Unfortunately gift cards are not available for purchase online. However, gift cards are available for purchase at all of our locations.

Order online - Picking up your order In-Store

What's the advantage of picking up my online order at a 2001 Audio Video location?

One advantage is that you can pick up your purchase when it is convenient for you, instead of waiting at home for your order to arrive. Additionally, you may be able to save on shipping charges if they apply to your order.

How do I go about purchasing an item and picking up my Online order In-Store?

  1. Select the items you would like to purchase and place them in your cart. Press Next
  2. Complete your Login or Registration. Press Next
  3. Review your Profile. Press Next
  4. In Shipping, you can select the location you would like to pick up the order from. Press Next.
  5. After completing your transaction, you will receive 2 emails.
  • Purchase Conformation Email - This will confirm that your order has been received and is ready to be processed.
  • Store Pick-Up Authorization Email - This email will be sent to you once we have set aside your product, ready for pick up. This email will include instructions on how to pick up the product once you arrive at the store. Please allow up to 48-72 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) for this email to be sent. Please do not arrive at the store before you have received this email. You will need this email along with your ID, to pick up your order.

Can someone else pick-up my order for me?

Unfortunately only the person whose name is on the online purchase order may pick-up the order in-store. Additionally, proper identification will be required at time of pick up.

Can I cancel my In-Store Pick up order?

If for any reason you wish to cancel your In-store pick-up order, you must contact our online sales department immediately before we complete arrangements with our pick up location.

Why has my order been rejected?

There are some cases where the computer shows inventory when you place the order, but physically by the time the store gets the order and pulls the product, it may have been sold to another customer. In these situations, we will contact you and resolve the issue or refund the purchase.


Do you deliver outside of Canada?

Unfortunately we do not deliver outside of Canada.

What are the different shipping methods that I can select from?

We ship all our products by Canada Post, Purolator Courier or other independent couriers, depending on the size of the item and its destination. For deliveries in close proximity to a 2001 Audio Video location, one of our 2001 Audio Video delivery trucks may be used to personally deliver your product.

How much will it cost to get my item shipped to me?

We offer FREE shipping on most items over $35.00 (before taxes, fees, and promo codes). To see what qualifies for free shipping or to view your final shipping charges if applied. You must add items into your Shopping Cart, then enter your postal code for a calculation of the shipping charges.

The cost of shipping should not exceed 10% of the Sale Price of your purchase. We will contact you if this situation happens. Some clearance, door crashers or Sale Priced items may not qualify for Free Shipping. Also certain oversized or heavy items like large TV's,TV Stands, Mounts and Furniture may not qualify for Free Shipping. This is at the discretion of 2001 Audio Video online staff.

If you live in a remote or isolated rural area or the far Northern areas of Canada, the actual shipping costs on larger items like TV’s,TV stands or large Audio Packages may exceed those that are quoted at the time you placed your order. Once we verify your order, we will confirm the exact cost for shipping and notify you of the actual charges prior to shipping your order. If you aren't happy with the actual shipping quote, your order can be cancelled and refunded in full.

How long can I expect to wait for my shipment to arrive?

Orders are processed as quickly as possible when they are received. Processing your order internally usually takes 1-2 business days before it is ready to be shipped. Shipping times may be delayed during Black Friday and Boxing Day sale periods.

How can I track the status of my order?

Once we have processed and scheduled your items for pick up. We will send you an email with a tracking number. Use this tracking number to track your order with the appropriate carrier.

What if I have a question about a product I see on your website?

There are many ways to get in touch with a 2001 Audio Video sales associate who will be glad to answer any question you may have about a product. You can call any of our store locations, and a sales associate from that store would be happy to assist you. If you prefer not to pick up the phone, you can email and our trained web staff will provide you with the same great insight into any product.

What is the Environmental Handling Fee?

Environmental Handling Fees (EHFs) are collected by electronic retailers when selling products that contain metal, glass, and plastic. Although it varies by province, generally, these fees are used to support environment initiatives aimed at diverting many of these waste materials from landfills through reuse and refurbishment in an environmentally-friendly way.


Does my product come with a warranty?

Yes. Every electronic product purchased from 2001 Audio Video – whether in-store or online – comes with a full manufacturer’s warranty good for one (1) year. Our Money-Back Extended Service Plan is also available to provide your product with additional coverage after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.

How can I purchase an Extended Service Plan?

This option is available to you at the time of purchase. If you are purchasing an item online, the option will be available to add to your Shopping Cart before checkout.

If there is a misprint on a price can I get that item for that price?

Inaccurate information or prices due to misprints, errors, and omissions will not be honoured.
