If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 15 days of purchase and we will gladly give you a refund. Exchanges will be accepted for up to 30 days of the original purchase date.
In-Store Refunds or Exchanges:
If you would like to obtain a refund or exchange a product at one of our locations, bring the item into your closest 2001 Audio Video location - with the original invoice, and within the time period mentioned above - and ask a sales associate for assistance. We will verify that the product being returned meets the conditions (listed below), and if it does, we will be happy to provide you with a refund or exchange.
Online Refunds or Exchanges:
If you would like to obtain a refund or exchange a product purchased through our website, you can bring the product to any of our locations, with your online invoice, and ask a sales associate for assistance. If there is not a 2001 Audio Video location near you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions on how to ship the product back to us and we will process your refund or exchange upon receiving the item.
Note: In the event the online purchase product is being returned via shipping due to a product defect or error made on our end, 2001 Audio Video will be happy to pay for the shipping costs on the returned item. However, in the event that there is nothing wrong with the product and we have fulfilled the order correctly, the customer will accept responsibility of all shipping charges related to the return.
- Products are eligible for refund within 15 days of purchase (or shipping date for online orders) and exchange within 30 days of purchase (or shipping date for online orders).
- The product must be in the original purchase condition and complete with all packaging, accessories, manuals, and other items provided by the manufacturer. Any returns that have items missing may be refused or the value of the missing items may be deducted from the credit. Opened merchandise being returned may be subject to a restocking fee (minimum 15%) based on their overall condition.
- Camcorders, Digital Cameras, GPS Systems, Tablets, Satellite Radio, Cable/Satellite boxes, and other consumable items cannot be refunded once opened or activated. If there is a problem with the product they can be exchanged within 14 days if they meet our exchange conditions.
- Headphones, Nespresso Equipment, and Telephones are final sale and can only be exchanged if defective and only exchanged for the same model.
- All Car Audio Installations are final sale.
- All fees associated with delivery, installation, labour, and professional set-up are non-refundable if the service has already been executed or in the process of being executed.
- No exchanges or refunds on special orders or custom orders.
- No exchanges on defective merchandise after 30 days. However, all products come with a full manufacturer’s warranty.
- Returns and exchanges may require your name, address, phone number and signature for security reasons. Valid ID may be required.
- Returns accompanied by the original invoice will be issued to the original method of payment. For purchases made with a credit card, the same credit card used to make the purchase will be refunded. Purchases made with paypal, your paypal account will be credited. Purchases made in cash will be refunded in the form of a company cheque issued by Head Office. Store credit will be given for returns originally purchased with a gift card or gift receipt. Your name, address and phone number are required for all returns and exchanges. Photo ID may be required. Returns not accompanied by the original invoice may be denied or may be issued as a store credit.
